About the Thales Multifinger Scanner CS500f
The CS500f is a multifinger livescan scanner from the Thales Cogent line, certified by the FBI under IAFIS IQS Appendix F as a livescan system and for identification flats, and compliant with Appendix P. It captures four-finger slaps and flat thumbs on a 3.2 x 3.0 inch platen and single rolled prints up to 1.6 x 1.6 inches at 500 dpi over USB 3.0. The MultiScan SDK adds automatic sequence checking, slap segmentation, rolled capture with seamless compositing, latent and halo elimination, and NIST quality scoring, and options such as a prism heater, LCD touchscreen, and silicone membrane adapt it to high-volume civil enrollment, border processing, and background check operations. We sell it new as an authorized Thales partner, with factory warranty and an optional extended annual warranty.
