About the Integrated Biometrics Kojak
The Kojak is a FAP 60 ten-print scanner from Integrated Biometrics, certified under the FBI Appendix F image quality specification. It captures four-finger slaps and single rolled prints at 500 ppi on a 3.2 x 3.0 inch sensing area, using LES film technology that reads dry or moist fingers and keeps working in direct sunlight. The whole unit runs on USB power alone, no external supply. At 1.6 pounds it does the work of a desktop livescan without the bulk, which is why it shows up in applicant fingerprinting and background check operations, mobile enrollment and civil ID programs, border processing, and booking stations that need full ten-print capture in the field. We run fingerprinting operations on this hardware ourselves, so every unit we sell, new or graded used, has been handled by people who use it daily.
