About the 10Scan LiveScan Software
10Scan is all-in-one livescan fingerprint capture and NFA eForm software for FFL and SOT dealers, built by TenScan LLC, the company behind BiometricSource. It is the same software we run in our own fingerprinting operations. Running on a Windows 10 or 11 PC or touch-screen tablet, it captures livescan fingerprints, generates ATF-compliant EFT files, and auto-fills and submits NFA eForm 1, eForm 4, and Form 5 filings, taking a customer from walk-in to submitted eForm in 10 minutes or less. 10Scan pairs with FBI Appendix F certified livescan scanners we stock, including the Thales DactyScan84c, Thales CS500f, Integrated Biometrics Kojak, Integrated Biometrics Five-0, and the Xperix (formerly Suprema) RealScan line. A self-service kiosk mode lets the customer scan their driver's license, take a passport-style photo, capture fingerprints, and answer the eForm questions on their own; the dealer then reviews everything and submits. Beyond live capture, the software imports and converts FD-258 ink cards to EFT files, manages CLEO information, generates NFA gun trusts through National Gun Trusts, and stores data on premise or in the cloud.
